By the way, you only have blackjack if your first two cards are an Ace and a Ten or a face card. They are worth more than the sum of, for example, a 10, a 5 and a 6, which together is also 21.
Baccarat
If you don’t think blackjack is that easy, then baccarat is easier. It is James Bond’s favorite card game. You often see him play it in one of the many films. In baccarat, the player has to guess who has the highest cards: the Banker (the casino) or the player. Colors are not important and the value can never be more than 9. For example, if the sum is 15, the tens are subtracted and the value is therefore 5. The dealer places two cards face down on the table for everyone to see. It is also he who decides who gets a third card. He makes that decision based on the number of points, the value of the player’s third card… Where is the strategy then? Very simple: whoever always bets on the Banker has the highest chance of winning.
3 card poker
In 3 card poker players do not play against each other but against the dealer. After the players have placed their bets, everyone is dealt three cards, including the dealer. Whoever passes loses his bet, whoever decides to continue playing with the cards received, bets the same amount again. The payout percentage or the portion of all bets that goes back to the player is 96.63 percent. That is quite high for a casino card game.
Sometimes you increase your chances of winning by choosing the card game, sometimes by betting on the right game or by playing all your options. In any case, a card game requires a little more thinking than roulette or slot and that makes it fun.
